“An historic train”
Marshal Foch’s train arrives at the station at Compiegne. Marshal Foch met the German ambassador on this train in the wood near Richmond (Sp?) station. All negotiations were held onboard this train and the armistice was signed in car number 2419D which is shown in the foreground.

240 mm cannon that was used during the defense of Verdun and was probably the largest gun in the front. The French dynamited it before leaving on their retreat in 1916. 132nd INF, 33rd Division at the front line.
