Roy Bernard Weimer was born
Nov. 30, 1894 in Marcus, the son of
George and Pauline Fletcher Weimer.
He graduated from Marcus High School
and attended Iowa State University in Ames.
He was united in marriage to
Blanche Marie Woodall on Dec. 25,
1923 in Aurelia. She diedNov. 30,1986.
Mr. Weimer was a long time farmer
and owned and operated his own hatchery
business. He served in France as a
1st Lieutenant in the U. S. Army during
World War I. He was a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge
and was an avid sports enthusiast who
enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Weimer died Saturday, July
29, 1995 at Methodist Manor in Storm
Lake of age complications.
Preceding him in death were his
parents, his wife, Blanche; four brothers,
two sisters and an infant son.
